About

Our
story
Raphaëlle spent fifteen years away from the place she was born, a place rich in scents, flavours and colour. She came back to start ChouetteEnsemble, a caterer that comes to you, with cooking that is mostly plant-based: in all those Paris years she had missed good vegetables, fruit, fresh herbs and flowers so much. An ode to nature, then — to those who grow what it gives us, and to those who cook it honestly.
Mathieu shares that passion. He became her partner in the kitchen, and took up the "eat the season" idea without a second thought.
And what is even more chouette is that Mathieu — who describes his trade as Pleasure, Sharing, Passion — has made Raphaëlle's deepest wish his own: to open a fine-dining kitchen to people with disabilities.
Cooking becomes a way of bringing people together, and of showing what the Talents Différents can do.

Inclusion, and Bringing People Together
Raphaëlle brought another partner into the adventure several years ago: Eddy Bonjean. A Maître d'Hôtel just as passionate about his trade as she is about hers, and the founder of Restaur'Hand, he is the one who eases each newcomer into our brigade, thoughtfully and at their own pace.
