Our Commitments Become Yours

Spending that is real, honest and measurable

Buy from us and your money has a real impact on this region:

- If you are a company, that impact can be measured and fed into your non-financial reporting, through an impact assessment of your event;

- If you are a private client, it is told in the good-food story of your celebration.

Our Commitment, Your Impact

Behind a beautiful event lie its economic, social and environmental realities.

Our economic reality: ChouetteEnsemble! is a SAS in the social and solidarity economy:

Our profits taste better, because almost all of them go straight back into the Chouette project — our articles of association require it. That means a kitchen that rewards the work of local growers and craftspeople, and creates jobs for people life has treated harshly.

Our social reality: the arrival of our Chef, Mathieu, lets us take the project down a fine-food route, and so make it last.

Our environmental reality: alongside our green measures — ordering only what we need, pooling deliveries, cutting packaging and reusing it — our cooking is heavily plant-based and ORGANIC (apart from some meats and cheeses on short supply chains). We use ecolabel cleaning products, and Enercoop for our energy. On our tables you will find no imported trinkets, but pieces by craftspeople and suppliers from the pays d'Aix and the Bouches-du-Rhône, with no low-cost printing ordered online. And food made fresh in-house rather than bought in from industry.

All of that costs money, of course, and rather than shave our margins we offer you "elegant restraint", an honest, pared-back approach with options, always with the idea of thinking together about what we do with our money and what our spending changes: together, we can put it behind wonderful things.
